Creating Memories
Based in Bedford, Creating Memories is the only local wish granting charity in the region, providing truly bespoke wishes for children with life limiting and/or terminal illnesses, and their families.
Since its inception back in 2018, the charity has formed excellent working relationships with several hospices across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The families who use the facilities at the hospices are referred to Creating Memories, if they want to request a wish. Each wish must be tailored for each child and their specific medical needs, and because the beneficiaries are some of the most vulnerable in society, extra care and understanding around the patients’ health and safety is vital.
Creating Memories respects each family’s choice, while doing everything possible to deliver the wish.
