Our policies are sold through a select number of dedicated insurance brokers who share many of our values, providing the most appropriate advice for the needs of our policyholders.
Ansvar is a business division of Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc a specialist insurance company owned themselves by a charity who’s surplus profits ultimately go to a charity.
AM Best Rating
A.M. Best has upgraded Ansvar’s Financial Strength Rating (FSR) from A- to A (Excellent) and outlook for all ratings is stable.
This follows from court approval of the transfer of its general insurance business to EIO effected by a Part VII transfer on 1st January 2011.
Standard & Poors Rating
Standard & Poors has affirms the insurer financial strength rating of Ansvar Insurance at BBBpi (Good). The rating has been based upon the 2008 annual report and accounts with reference to the UK regulatory return, and reflects good earnings and good capitalization offset to some extent by the company's small size and limited competitive position.
